Recovery, Restoration & Intentional Rest
A PRIVATE WELLNESS EXPERIENCE COMBINING INFRARED HEAT, CONTRAST THERAPY, AND RESTORATIVE RECOVERY PRACTICES DESIGNED TO SUPPORT CIRCULATION, RELAXATION AND WHOLE-BODY WELLNESS
What is the Recovery Suite?
The Recovery Suite at Radiant Wellness Studio is designed to support recovery, circulation, nervous system regulation, and restorative wellness through the therapeutic use of heat and cold exposure.
These therapies are widely used within athletic recovery, performance wellness, and longevity-focused routines for their ability to support circulation, muscle recovery, nervous system regulation, and restorative wellness. By combining scientifically informed recovery modalities with intentional restorative practices, the Recovery Suite is designed to support both physical recovery and mental reset.
Infrared sauna therapy uses infrared wavelengths of light to heat the body directly, helping support circulation, muscle relaxation, sweating, and cardiovascular response at more comfortable ambient temperatures than traditional saunas.
Contrast therapy combines infrared heat with cold plunge immersion. Alternating between heat and cold exposure creates a strong vascular response commonly incorporated into recovery and performance-focused wellness routines.

-
The Infrared Sauna Recovery Session is a heat only-focused wellness experience centered around infrared sauna therapy and red light therapy. This option is often chosen by clients looking for a more restorative, detoxification-focused experience without cold exposure.
The Contrast Therapy Recovery Session combines infrared sauna heat with cold plunge immersion for a more performance-focused recovery experience designed to stimulate circulation, vascular response, and nervous system resilience through alternating heat and cold exposure.
Both sessions are held within our private Recovery Suites and allow clients to choose the approach best aligned with their comfort level and wellness goals.
-
Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light associated with cellular recovery, circulation support, and overall wellness optimization. These wavelengths interact with mitochondria — the energy-producing structures within cells — through a process known as photobiomodulation.
Many clients incorporate red light therapy into wellness and recovery routines focused on muscle recovery, skin wellness, circulation support, and restorative recovery.
Red light therapy is included with all Recovery Suite Sessions.

Our infrared saunas typically operate between approximately 120°F–140°F, depending on usage.
Because infrared saunas heat the body directly rather than simply heating the surrounding air, many clients find them more comfortable and easier to tolerate than traditional saunas while still encouraging sweating, circulation, and recovery support.
-
Our cold plunge is typically maintained between approximately 45°F–55°F.
Clients are encouraged to approach cold exposure at their own pace and comfort level. Even shorter immersions can help create the circulatory and recovery-focused benefits associated with contrast therapy.
First-time clients often begin with shorter plunges and gradually build tolerance over time.
-
Every client approaches contrast therapy differently, but most sessions involve alternating between infrared sauna heat and cold plunge immersion several times throughout the 60-minute experience.
A common session structure may include:
10–15 minutes in the infrared sauna
Rinse to cleanse toxins from sauna sweat
1–3 minutes in the cold plunge
a short rest and recovery period
repeating the cycle 2–4 times based on comfort level and experience
Some clients prefer a slower, more restorative pace focused on relaxation, while others use shorter recovery periods and more frequent heat/cold cycles as part of a performance-focused recovery routine.
Sessions are fully self-guided, allowing you to move at your own pace and comfort level.
-
Not at all. Many clients are completely new to cold exposure and are encouraged to move at their own pace.
-
Frequency depends on your wellness and recovery goals. Some clients visit occasionally for relaxation and stress relief, while others incorporate recovery sessions multiple times per week as part of athletic recovery or ongoing wellness routines.
-
Swimwear or comfortable athletic attire is required. Slippers/sandals are provided if desired.
-
Yes. We strongly recommend arriving well hydrated before both infrared sauna and contrast therapy sessions and continuing to hydrate with water and electrolytes post recovery session to aid your body in detoxing toxins. Avoiding heavy meals immediately beforehand and be sure to pace yourself comfortably during the session to avoid dizziness and any adverse effects.
